63 YR OLD MALE WITH CAD. CAN'T GET HEART RATE OUT OF 80'S ON TREADMILL OR RECUMBENT BIKE. DOESN'T TAKE BP MEDICATION.




As long as you don’t have any symptoms like dizziness, loss of consciousness, you don’t have to worry about the heart rate.  Resting heart rate more than 50 is acceptable.  Some athletes have slower heart rates.  If this low heart rate is something new, you should see your physician as soon as possible.
