HEART HEALTHY RECIPE (LUNCH): TURKEY SANDWICH

·         3 ounces roasted turkey
·         2 slices of pumpernickel or 100% whole grain bread
·         1 TBSP roasted red pepper in a jar, chopped
·         1 ounce alfalfa sprouts
·         1 TBSP green onion, chopped
·         1 TBSP fat free cream cheese
·         1 tsp. stone-ground mustard


1.      Mix together fat fee cream cheese and mustard and spread mixture on bread
2.      Put turkey on one slice of bread and top with roasted red peppers, green onions and alfalfa sprouts
3.      Place the other piece of bread on top and cut in half


Servings:  1 sandwich
