crisp lettuce leaves
1. In a crock pot or slow cooker, combine the
turkey, onion, celery, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil,
chili paste, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts
2. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours
3. Before serving add the bean sprouts, green
onions, and cilantro
4. Mix thoroughly
5. To serve, place ½ cup of the mixture on a
lettuce leaf and drizzle with hoisin sauce or soy sauce
6. Roll the filled leaf into a pocket style
sandwich
